My Interests
Cooking is one of my favorite ways to connect, create, and care for others. I enjoy developing recipes that celebrate locally sourced ingredients and honor cultural traditions—preserving both flavor and heritage while aligning with evidence-based nutrition and modern nourishment goals.
Beyond my clinical and counseling work, I am particularly interested in:
-
Digital health education that delivers accessible, accurate, and evidence-based nutrition information at scale
-
Culturally rooted nutrition interventions that center community needs, lived experiences, and food traditions
-
Advancing women’s leadership in healthcare systems, especially within nutrition, preventive care, and public health
I am also deeply interested in food as more than fuel. To me, food reflects identity, culture, mental well-being, and social connection—and plays a powerful role in shaping both individual health outcomes and broader systems of care.
